I'd like it a lot more if it did a slower/softer fade and just ended with a dark blue. I used to race RC cars and painted some of my bodyshells that way.

I had a matchbox car as a kid that would change from blue to white depending on the temperature. When you dipped the front end in hot water it looked almost exactly like that.

Yeah, I remember having some of those too. It's hard to explain to a kid that magic isn't real after he's played with one of those cars.
